I thought though it was time to look further afield in the world of cowhide to see what I could find that was both inspiring and interesting. Well here is the first fruit of my journey – this marvellous short report from Reuters about a young South African artist that makes art works out of cowhide – my hunch is that these are inferior South African cowhides and their cheapness is what makes them ideal for her craft.
